The next version of the EV-8000S Firmware will not be released this weekend due to some major issues which have come up with the implementation of the new Kernel 2.6.9 (as opposed to the 2.4.2 used beforehand). We are working extremely hard on these issues, but we think, postponing the official release about 1 or two weeks in order to have more time for Beta-testing will help us deliver a version which is actually worth upgrading to. As long as this is not the case, there will be no release. The new Kernel is necessary for the implementation of our new SDK-API, so continuing on the old kernel is not an option.
Registered Beta-Testers will be supplied with new beta-releases at the start of next week, so please be ready.
